First, a huge “Thank You” to Porsche Club of Arizona for having a great Drivers Education event on Saturday at Phoenix International Raceway, and Congrats to all the participants on Sunday in the ClubRacingAZ/NASA Competition School. We also had the honor of hosting the United Auto Group Porsche Ride and Drive School for new Porsche owners — it was great having you with us. We are also excited to announce that we raised $750 for the YMCA and $750 to the Ward Traditional School in Tempe. If you would like to make additional donations, please contact me directly, so we can get that money to the Club Racing Arizona and NASA Arizona Charities.
Well, after 7 Consecutive events at PIR, we are moving to Firebird Main on Saturday, the 7th of April. This is going to be a one-day event! It is also a Double Points race, and Double Points Time Trial. This is a great way to make up an event if you have missed one of the first 3 of the 2007 Season. We will also be having a HPDE1 and all HPDE Groups, Surgeusa.com Time Attack and the Vividracing.com NASA Time Trial.
Register NOW!!! Space is very limited at Firebird and we have been running near sell out conditions the last 10 events! Register at:

Prayer Request
I would like everyone to pray for Allyson and I and our families. This decision to race a car is a very big decision to make, we are requesting everyone to pray for us and have God’s will be done in our life. Also pray for us to be strong enough to walk through the door that is opened for us, it may be very hard for my wife to see me get into a race car and it may be hard for me to walk away from racing a car if that is God’s will.

NASA Competition School
March 26, 2007
First off, I want to thank Clubracing Arizona and NASA Arizona, but especially Jason Boles for this opportunity to attend the NASA comp school on March 25 at Phoenix International Raceway. I also want to that all of the instructors for making it an awesome experience; Greg Vespars, Mike Browning, Ralph Evans and Jim - each one of you made the school fun and educational with each one’s individual experiences in racing. Wow! It’s official, I have completed comp school and believe it or not, I passed! Praise God for His strength! I can do all thing through Christ that gives me strength! It has been only six months since I first started driving on the track and I’m hoping to take the next step in Race Group. Truly, the next big step will be buying a race car, that may take twice as long as it took to get my provisional license. I now have to prove I can drive safely in the race group, so for the next 4 races I will be required to race “squeaky clean”, which I plan on racing with that manner the rest of my racing career (short or long). I have a whole new world to learn again, so the education process is starting all over again, but I can’t wait! I am sure Jesus will have a couple of lessons to learn from this experience.
Interesting side note, Slash from Guns and Roses and Velvet Revolver was also in the comp school. It was pretty cool, all he wanted to be seen as was a race car driver.
I would encourage everyone to dream big and go for it if you feel it is where God wants you to be!

Porsche Club of America Arizona Region
This weekend was awesome, it was fun driving with all of the PCA guys in the Arizona Region on Saturday. I started in the DE3 run group, then moved to the DE4 group in the afternoon on Saturday, it was really a fun event. Check out the Photo Gallery for pictures, I took 187 photos in the afternoon, the morning was kind of hectic, almost 100% of the pictures are of Porsche. I didn’t get any pictures of the DE4 group, sorry about that, I couldn’t take pictures and drive at the same time.

Seat-Time wrap up from Chris Yano
www.azseat-time.com
Hello fellow racers and car enthusiasts,
Thank you to all who came out to play this past Saturday at Firebird Raceway East Track. An extra special thanks is in order to the following people and/or organizations that helped make AZ Seat-Time happen: Jason/Ralph/Marty with CRA/NASA, Spencer Sharp/Blade Productions, all the corner workers, grid, race control, Sherry (DJ/Announcer) and the highly popular registration girls.
We had a successful first event with a total of 37 participants. Taking on the heat was a nice array of cars from a SPEED GT Viper and ASC Stock Car to Subaru’s and RX-7’s. This made for fun run groups for all. I think it’s safe to say that each run group received 30-45 minutes in access to the scheduled track time. How often does that actually happen? I will continue to do that if time allows.
On another note, we successfully passed five of the six new drivers on to drive solo moving forward. Congrats to those who were signed off by your instructor. We look forward to seeing you at the next event. Also, congrats to the RX-7 and the Evo who won the “coolest car” contest judged by the registration girls. I hope you enjoy your free track day.
The event ran very smooth and laid back with NO incidents or accidents. There were only a couple spins and that was it. This is exactly what AZ Seat-Time was trying to persue. We would like any feedback on the event, positive or negative, that you believe would make the event better. Please email Chris at azseattime@gmail.com. We appreciate all of the feedback we have recieved thus far.
In closing, AZ Seat-Time feels that the first event was successfull and has decided to put on another open track day in the future. The date has not yet been locked down, however, as soon as it is I will send out a follow up email with the information.
AZ Seat-Time would appreciate it if you would continue to spread the word and keep the track days growing so we
can continue to keep the costs down in the future. Be sure to visit the website for updated information. Remember that we offer Private Instructing from top notch instructors. See instuctors on the “Home” page.

Allyson finally made new(baptized), a good day in the Peck family!!!
March 19, 2007
I want to congratulate my wife, Allyson, for being Baptized this Sunday. She accepted Christ early in life, but had never been baptized because she wanted to do it in a Church she called home. Soma North truly is our home and she was so excited to finally share and express her faith with her closest family! It was a wonderful day for us and our Soma North Church family.
Thanks also go to Lucas and Joe for making it so memorable and wonderful!
