F1 RACE FACTORY TO HOST NATION’S QUICKEST DRIVERS

Venue launches first ever US Indoor Kart Championship

PHOENIX, Ariz. (April 04, 2007) – F1 Race Factory, America’s Largest Indoor Kart Racing and Entertainment Venue, announced today that it will host the first ever US Indoor Kart Championship to take place April 12-14, 2007.

The US Indoor Kart Championship (USIKC) will bring the best kart racers in the country to compete in a three-day competition that will determine the US Indoor Kart Champion and USIKC Team. The competition was created in an effort to boost the competitive nature of the emerging sport. Kart racing is extremely popular in Europe and South America, and is catching on quickly in the US. F1 Race Factory also hosts the Indoor Kart World Championship, which in 2006 brought over 75 of the world’s most talented kart racers together in a fast paced and intense competition. These kart racers travel to Phoenix from countries such as Brazil, the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, and Argentina to compete against the best in their field.

“Kart racing is a thrilling sport, whether you are a spectator or on the tracks,” said Scott Sanders, President of F1 Race Factory. “We designed the USIKC as an additional event for the best of the best to take part in. To compete, and even better to win a competition of this caliber is a milestone for those who are passionate about this sport.”

In addition to promoting an already flourishing sport, the USIKC was created to locate talent and foster the growth of tomorrow’s premiere drivers. Several of today’s NASCAR and Formula 1 drivers got their start in kart racing, including Michael Schumacher, Tony Stewart, and Danica Patrick.

The field of the USIKC will be limited to 60 racers. Racers will compete in 6 races throughout the weekend, competing on a different track every race. Racers will receive points for each race and at the end of the competition a USIKC individual and team champion will be crowned.

The total purse is worth over $5,000 in cash and prizes. The entry fee is $350 per racer. No previous racing experience is required, and the minimum driver age is 15. For more information, please visit www.USIKC.com.
