Setting the record straight! The TRUTH on SRD!

I got a disturbing Private Message on the Club Racing Arizona forum concerning why I briefly considered selling my car.

This is the TRUTH regarding the situation. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ ON OTHER FORUMS REGARDING ANYTHING, USE DISCERNMENT!!!! Truth comes in one form, but it tends to be altered when it comes from one person’s or group’s viewpoint.

TRUTH: I had an opportunity with Steve Lisa to “buy in” on a Panoz GTS. It was an opportunity to drive a GT built race car and learn to drive at a higher level of skill. Steve Lisa was the main earthly influence I ended up in a car. Believe me, my purpose at the track is to serve Jesus Christ in a etifying manner, not just improving my driving skills at the track.
After discussing the opportunity with close friends and my WIFE, I quickly realized I wasn’t in a position to AFFORD the opportunity. It had nothing to do with the cage SRD built! As a matter of fact, the cage is awesome!

If anyone knows Chet Mann of SRD, they know he is trying to contribute to the sport, not just make a buck. I trust SRD with the maintenance and prep of my car. I also rely on Brady D, Jeremy R and Scott to prep my car at the track. I really appreciate the support I recieve from everyone, but I hate it when someone attacks anyone that is trying to help me.

I just wanted to set the record straight, so everyone knew my true motivations. I apply a simple principle when I make decisions: Does this decision glorify Clayton or does it Glorify God? This way I know if it the best decision.

PLEASE REPOST THIS ON ANY FORUM TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT!!!!!

NBoundZ buys www.azracegroup.com as gift for Club Racing AZ

I was reviewing 2007 concerning my position with Club Racing Arizona and I have to admit, I was disappointed in myself.

I know we have accomplished a lot concerning a consist amount of vendors at each event, but sponsorship has been hard to establish. I want to thank all of the sponsors, we really do appreciate everything you do to contribute to our sport.

This year I have a vision and I have started the ball rolling. I bought the domain www.azracegroup.com for the next five years and I hope to build a website solely dedicated to ALL NASA race groups. This includes Time Attack, Time Trial and Race Group. I will be working with all group leaders to maintain the page and keep it current. I am not going to pass the work off on anyone, I will do all the maintenace of the website.

I envision a site with great pictures and videos of each race group for every event, plus bios and self promotion of teams within our series. I want to work with web design company to create a site powerful enough to capture the essence of our organization. This web design organization will be a major contributor this year, I will require design and free hosting for a permanent sponsorship. The link from our main page will be seamless with an easy link and vice versa. This will be used in conjunction with our site, not competition. This will allow sponsors to view a site without the sometimes unfriendly “forums” and push our and their brand. We may not be Grand Am or Rolex, but that is how I see this site looking. It will have things like “Rules and Regs”, The Cars”, “The Drivers”, “The Teams” and “The Tracks” and general information to attract fans and participants. I think this will really create a buzz about what we are doing at the tracks in Arizona.

I want to start making our organization more appealing to sponsors, this is the first step. The second step is having every racer create a bio page and start self promoting their racing campaign.

I will keep everyone up to date on the progress. This site will take some time to build, but I think it will be worth it in the long run.

NBoundZ Motorsports And Christian Ministries bought this domain, but I want everyone to know we are giving the intellectual and usage rights exclusively to Club Racing Arizona. Merry Christmas Jason!

Christmas wishes!

I hope everyone enjoyed the Christmas holiday! I hope you took time to reflect on the real meaning of Christmas and gave thanks to our gracious God for the gift of Jesus Christ. I see Christmas as the celebration of the birth of Christ, but to truly understand it’s meaning you have to meet Jesus at the cross. Jesus conquered death on the cross as a sacrifice for your past and future sins, so you too can have eternal life. Have you asked Him to be the Lord and Savior of your life? Why wait another day…….
