Arrive and Drive

April 28, 2008

I am pleased to announce that we are working with Racer Motorsports for a local Arrive and Drive program in Phoenix, AZ.  Racer Motorsports is providing  NBoundZ Motorsports and Christian Ministries a finders fee for anyone that comes to them via the NBoundZ website or referral.  Racer Motorsports is doing this to help us stay at the track and continue our ministry.  Make sure you tell them you found the program through our site or through us personally, so NBoundZ can take advantage of the referral.

Press Release – NBoundZ Karting Campaign and Joe Baugh – NBoundZ’s newest driver

Press Release: for immediate print - NBoundZ announces it’s newest campaign and new driver representing NBoundZ Motorsports and Christian Ministries.  NBoundZ MCM will continue to be highly involved with NASA AZ and prays that Clayton Peck can continue to race in some capacity, but Clayton will continue his current roles with the organization and will continue to promote the Thanksgiving event, “The Iron Horse 100 for ALS”.

NBoundZ MCM, in an effort to stay in the very expensive sport of motorsports, continues to try to sell the NBoundZ #350 Nissan 350Z, but makes a bold move in purchasing two karts; one shifter and one TAG, both 125cc. “We evaluated many other options and almost decided to go with Formula Ford’s, but after my wife’s insight and excitement of the sport of karting, I quickly started to change my direction for the betterment of my marriage and the financial security of my family,” stated Clayton Peck  As karting as the focus, NBoundZ MCM also announced that they have promoted the status of Joe Baugh from crew chief to driver.  “Joey has been a faithful servant to Christ and to NBoundZ, so NBoundZ is very happy to see Joe behind the wheel of a kart and I really look forward to seeing him behind the wheel of a open wheel race car in the very near future,” exclaimed an overly excited Clayton Peck.  NBoundZ #1 goal is to boldly proclaim and profess the name of Jesus Christ as the one and ONLY God that can bring salvation to this world, in everything NBoundZ does, now that will include karting with Phoenix Kart Racing Association (PKRA).  “This will give NBoundZ a unique opportunity to build vital relationships with kids and their parents enabling NBoundZ MCM to share the free gift of salvation that Jesus Christ provided on the cross to give them more hope than trying to fill their lives up with empty victories of this world.  Jesus has already won the race for us, now we should be racing to spread that good news!” as Clayton concluded.

I originally bought this helmet thinking I was going to buy an open wheel helmet, but since we will be focusing on karts, I don’t have any need for the cooling ducts or the drinking set up.  This helmet retails over $1600.00, I am selling it for $1200.00.

PRESS RELEASE – Clayton Peck continues to drive on….

April 16, 2008

Press Release: For immediate print

April 16, 2008  9:38 Standard Pacific Time

After an unsuccessful attempt to sell the NBoundZ Nissan 350Z, Clayton Peck decides to go forward with 2008 race campaign with NASA AZ.

“If God wants us out here, He will continue to keep the door open. Right now, I see this as an opportunity to walk through that open door and I have faith that God will be with us 100% as we continue to minister to this wonderful motor sport community.  I also want to thank our newest sponsor Terry Denton and The Water Store for helping making this a possibility!”  as stated by Clayton Peck
For further clarification, the NBoundZ Z continues to be “For Sale”, but as long as God continues to provide a way for NBoundZ to be at the track as a racing team, they will continue the NASA AZ Campaign.  NBoundZ Motorsports has secured a sponsor, The Water Store and a new undisclosed sponsor, but the funding will not start until the Fall season.

Clayton also commented, “This is a limited sponsorship that will allow us to race one day per weekend per month with NASA AZ’s Fall season, which is much better than not racing at all.”

Unless NBoundZ finds individual sponsorship for events coming up in the Spring and Summer, the car will remain on display at F1 Race Factory in Phoenix, AZ.

The ultimate goal is to sell the NBoundZ Motorsports Z and start on a racing project that will have less cost to race per event enabling NBoundZ Motorsports to have a more full season in 2009.  NBoundZ Motorsports is exploring options with a Spec or Formula Ford / Mazda or a D Class sports car. NBoundZ Motorsports has mentioned they will discuss these options with Racer Motorsports of Phoenix, AZ to determine if building a car from the ground up is a possibility.

NBoundZ Motorsports is hoping to secure a complete sponsorship for the 2009 season that will include a very grassroot budget which will include the following estimated cost:

2009 Full Spring, Summer and Fall Season (2 events per month)

Used  / new Spec or Formula Ford / Mazda or other car – $25,000.00

Entry Fees – $10,000.00

Tires for complete season – $10,000.00

Fuel – $5,000.00

Brakes – $4,000

Engine rebuilds – $5000.00

Travel Expenses – $5000.00

Total cost for Sponsorship – $64,000

Race car cost per event (24 events) - $1,025.00

Operating cost per event (24 events) - $1,000.00

The cost to run an “affordable” race car is still very expensive, so NBoundZ Motorsports will continue to research options to reduce the overall cost.

At this point, NBoundz Motorsports stated they were willing to trade the car for a very competitive Formula or Spec Ford / Mazda car.  NBoundZ also mentioned they would be willing to trade the car for two ”seasoned” Formula or Spec Fords / Mazdas to give Joe Baugh an opportunity behind the wheel instead of being under the car as crew chief.

“No matter what we are driving, our ultimate goal is glorify Jesus Christ!” NBoundZ also pointed out they continue to keep the tradition of the Gulf Livery colors on all of their new projects.   Â
