United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC)
This group is for the sharing of United States Touring Car Championship photos, race cars, events, trophy girls, paddock lifestyles from past, present and future. Enjoy! About USTCC - CARS: About USTCC cars all use 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder engines (AWD, Turbo/Super Charger Allowed) putting out about 200-250 horsepower. Exclusive tire for the series are 17inch NITTO NT-01 D.O.T. Approved Road Racing Tires. Not legal are super expensive sequential transmissions used in European touring car series. The care use fairly stock engines with bolt on mod parts such as headers, throttle bodies, computers, air intakes, etc. Suspension modifications allow replacement of shocks, spring and sway bars while maintaining factory suspension mounting points. Bigger brake rotors and multip piston calipers are allowed. Aerodynamic aids are allowed with specific limitations. EXPOSURE: The USTCC sereis is a hight exposure series. The touring car series provides a great deal of exposure through print meida as well as Internet TV like www.wheelstv.net and broadcast TV (exclusively by FINAL DRIVE TV - www.finaldrive.net). There are articles published about USTCC in local and national magazines such as TPR (Tuning Performance Reports) Magazine, Grassroots Motorsports, JustRacing.com, speedarena.com and www.Autoracing1.com. Prize Money: Every team is guaranteed to take home at least $300 cash prize money, even the last place finisher. First place finisher prize money varies from event to event but genrally comes close to $4000 with $1000 guaranteed in cash and prizes.
